I guess this is what I get for zooming through both carrot cake cross stitch pieces in “record time.” I should know better than to say stuff like that!

ARRGH.

Luckily I don’t think it will take too long to fix – I’m not going to rip out the whole thing, only the “April” part.

Ah, well.

    Uh oh! It’s still really cute, though!!! You’re right, it won’t take but a moment to fix (I’ve had to redo some lettering, too, because I was distracted by Mad Men…trust me, it will only take a few minutes. :) ).

    Thanks for the compliment on my first project :) It meant a lot, especially since I was feeling bad about my mistakes. And now I feel even better about the few times I had a rip out. If someone who is good at it needs to fix mistakes, I guess it’s ok that I have to too :) Hope your weekend is stitchy and good!!

      You’re very welcome! I can’t tell you how often I’ve had to rip something out, or accidentally stabbed myself with the needle, or sewed something together backwards and inside out…it happens. Swearing is a frequent part of crafting in my house. And we still do it because we’re crazy! I mean, we love it! :)

    Whoopsies! Hopefully it will be a quick fix. I probably wouldn’t have even noticed it wasn’t aligned if it weren’t for the line there :) . It’s an adorable piece. Your projects always make me happy!
