The Trouble with Etsy, part 2

There were a lot of really thoughtful, helpful comments on my post from earlier this summer, The Trouble with Etsy. Many of you expressed similar frustrations with Etsy, but the general conclusion seems to be that in terms of sheer numbers and traffic, Etsy can’t be beat. I reluctantly agree, but have not made any decisions regarding my own shop.
I wanted to highlight some other resources that a creative person such as yourself might be able to take advantage of if you were looking for a place to sell your work online. This isn’t an endorsement of any of these places; just a roundup of resources.

Note that some of these sites are international and might not work for sellers based in the U.S.

Big Cartel
Bonanza
Coriandr
DaWanda
Driftwood Mall
Folksy
iCraft
Made it Myself
Not on the High Street
ShopLocket
Storenvy
Supermarket
Yokaboo
Zibbet

You can also check out the original post to see the options I was first considering.

Thank you again to everyone who commented! I really appreciate all of you taking the time to share your thoughts and suggestions.
